What kind of batteries is this controller suitable for?
The controller is suitable for use with 12V deep cycle batteries of the SLD/AGM; GEL; Flooded; Li.
What is the Specification of the Anderson plug on the controller?
The controller does not need to be wired by the customer with a bolt, it is already pre-installed with an Anderson connector and can be plugged and wired directly using the Anderson PP75 connector.
What wire is needed for this controller?
This controller is suitable for wiring gauges 8AWG-6AWG, the cable length should be taken into account when selecting the cable
What is the maximum number of PV modules that can be connected to this controller?
The maximum solar voltage that can be connected is 100 V and the maximum solar power is 800 W. It is best to use panels of the same size and not to exceed the input voltage & power limits.
Is there anything to be aware of when installing wiring for this controller?
Ensure that the controller is mounted vertically with a 150mm clearance for proper heat dissipation. When wiring the controller connect it to the battery first, followed by the solar panel.
Is it necessary to connect the temperature sensor on the controller?
Non-lithium batteries need to be connected to a temperature sensor in order to protect batteries from high or low temperature through temperature compensation with timely adjustment of charging voltage. Note: No temperature compensation in Li mode, there is no need to connect a temperature sensor for lithium batteries.
Is this controller waterproof?
The waterproof rating of this controller is only IP32, so it is not waterproof
Does the controller have an electrical protection function?
This controller is equipped with electrical protection functions, such as: over-voltage protection, reverse connection protection, over-power protection, etc.
How to choose a fuse when wiring this controller?
The fuse on the PV access side needs to be calculated according to the PV current of the input port (total PV current * 1.56), the recommended fuse size for the output port is 80A
What is the self-consumption of the controller?
This controller has a self-consumption of ≤ 0.5W
How can I view the data without a monitor screen?
The controller has built-in Bluetooth, so you can monitor the controller's data via the DC HOME APP.
What communication methods does this controller support?
This controller supports the following communication methods: Bluetooth Module BT-2 (RS485 / CAN bus signal)
How to change the type of battery with this controller?
By rotating the button on the controller for the appropriate battery type. Note: Battery type cannot be modified on DC HOME APP.
How to set your own charging parameters on the controller?
First turn the rotary button for battery type on the controller to User, then change the charging parameters on the DC HOME APP.
Can multiple units of this product be connected in parallel to charge the battery?
Yes, but the following factors need to be considered: a. Due to device accuracy errors, there might be a situation where two devices detect different battery voltages, leading to inconsistent charging statuses between the two devices. This is especially common during the low-current charging stage and should be considered normal. b. When multiple devices are simultaneously charging the same battery pack, it's important to ensure that the sum of the charging currents from all devices does not exceed the maximum charging current supported by the battery pack.
