Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you deliver to Ireland, and how long does delivery take?

Yes. We deliver Renogy products to Ireland. The average delivery time is 7–9 days, depending on the product, warehouse and delivery address.

2. How can I check the shipping cost to Ireland?

You can check the shipping cost using our shipping cost table. Alternatively, add your products to the cart and enter your Irish postcode at checkout to view the applicable shipping cost before placing your order.

3. Why is shipping to Ireland more expensive?

Our warehouses are located in Germany and Poland. Due to the longer delivery distance to Ireland, shipping costs may be higher than in other European countries.

4. How much solar power do I need?

Your solar system size depends on your daily electricity consumption, the appliances you use, how long you use them, and the available sunlight at your location.

As a general guide, calculate your daily energy use in Wh or kWh, then size your solar panels to produce enough energy for your daily consumption while allowing for system losses and less productive weather conditions. Your battery capacity should also be sized according to your required backup time.

Not sure what system size you need? Contact our support team or submit a case with details of your appliances, their power ratings, daily usage and your location. We can help you determine a suitable solar and battery configuration.

5. Are Renogy products suitable for Ireland's weather?

Yes. Renogy offers products designed for Ireland's changeable conditions. ShadowFlux solar panels help minimise power loss in partial shade, while selected self-heating LiFePO₄ batteries support charging in colder conditions.

For help choosing the right system for your home, contact our support team or submit a case.

6. Can I use Renogy EU inverters in Ireland?

Please check the plug type before ordering. Renogy products sold on our EU website generally use a European 2-pin plug, while Ireland uses the Type G 3-pin plug.

Although Ireland and mainland Europe use the same 230V / 50Hz electrical standard, the plug types are different, so an EU 2-pin plug cannot be connected directly to a standard Irish socket. A suitable plug adapter may be used where appropriate.
