What is Renogy's Return Policy?

Return within 30 Days

You may return your product(s) to Renogy within 30 days of delivery. The item(s) must be in the original packaging, be unused, undamaged, and unmodified. A refund will be issued after the returned item is inspected by Renogy.

For any other reason not listed, customers are responsible for any return shipping fees. Renogy will NOT accept returns with any modifications to the product as it voids our warranty. Any modified products returned to Renogy will be shipped back to you at your own expense.

Can I exchange my Renogy order?

Renogy does not offer exchanges. If you purchase the wrong item by mistake, you will need return the item and place a separate order for the correct one. The return shipping expenses shall be borne by you.

Where is my refund?

Once we have confirmed that the return requirements are met, we will issue a full refund within 2-5 business days. Actual deposit times may vary according to your banking institution. Additionally, an email notification will be sent out when the refund is issued.

What about defective or faulty items?

We stand behind all of our products. If the item(s) you received is defective or flawed in any way, please submit a case on our online portal and describe the issue you are encountering.

1.How many solar panels do I need to top up PHOENIX 500?

The maximum solar input of PHOENIX 500 is 200W. We recommend two E.FLEX 110 Portable Solar Panels or one E.FLEX 220 (sold separately) to recharge PHOENIX 500 solar powered generator faster.

2. Will PHOENIX 500 automatically shut off output ports when it is not in operation?

PHOENIX 500 solar portable power station features timeout settings, automatically turning off output ports when devices draw low or no power from these ports to save energy. The default timeout setting is 1 hour. Alternatively, you can adjust or disable the timeout setting on DC Home app based on your needs.

3.What happens when the AC load exceeds 800W?

PHOENIX 500 can automatically identify types of load with iBoost technology. For resistive load, PHOENIX 500 lowers the power consumption drawn by the load to keep it operating without triggering AC overload protection.

4. Are batteries inside PHOENIX 500 replaceable? Can they be expanded in a certain way?

No, the lithium iron phosphate batteries in PHOENIX 500 cannot be replaced. If you wish to use high-powered appliances, you can connect two PHOENIX 500 through a parallel kit to get 990Wh of backup battery storage and max. 1440W AC output.

5. Can I use PHOENIX 500 as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)?

Please note that PHOENIX 500 cannot switch from grid supply to the emergency AC power in less than 0ms like a professional UPS does. We don't advise using the PHOENIX 500 as UPS for critical devices like data servers or workstations. Make sure that the output load is rated below 800W.

PHOENIX 500 comes with an AC power cable (5.91 ft / 1.8 m), a car charge cable (4.92 ft / 1.5 m), a solar charge cable (9.84 ft / 3 m), and a user guide.
